You are invited to share your views on exciting plans by Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire for a new residential development on land south of Mayfields Way, South Kirkby.

The site is allocated for housing in the Wakefield Local Plan (Allocation Reference: HS45) to help meet the need for new homes in the district.

Persimmon is proposing to deliver a range of high quality, energy efficient 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes, alongside new areas of public open space.

This website has been created to present details of the proposed development and provide you with an opportunity to give feedback on the scheme. Once this process is concluded, a detailed planning application will be submitted to Wakefield Council.

Responses to this consultation are invited from now until Monday 9th December 2024.

Your feedback will be considered before the scheme is finalised for submission as a planning application to Wakefield Council.

Wakefield Council will provide another opportunity for you to comment on the proposals once the planning application has been submitted and validated.
